Finally some snow

Finally we had some snow for more than one day. Until now we've had snow, but either rain or sun made it melt the day after. Today was a beautiful day with cold temperature but nice sun; so I took my (new) camera and shot some pictures of winter in Porsgrunn. Click the photo to go Flickr, where the other photos in this series are available.

Working during the weekend

There are two projects that require me to finish preparations before I leave Monday night. That made me decide to spend a number of hours at the office this weekend. It's pretty quiet here now (only workaholics spend weekends at the office :-) and that is quite an advantage since I really need to concentrate on the job.

Arjan at his best

This must be how Arjan feels at his best: beiing the singer of the band called "Niet Mooi Wel Hard" (not nice, but loud :-) I stole this photo from the Pagedal website, the picture was taken during the weekend that the Pagedal A-team spent in De Schermer

Fujifilm FinePix S5500

I've written before that I was looking for a new camera. Yesterday I bought a brand new Fujifilm FinePix S5500. Rather cool camera that can fits the Point 'n Shoot amateur and the more professional photographer. Future uploaded pictures might be taken by this camera (I use to add a tag about what camera the photo was taken with)

Photos by Flickr

I've created my personal Flickr account (see flickr.com) and integrated it with my blog. From now on I can easily add photos and pictures to my blog. However, you have to visit the blog itself to see them since they won't be visible in a newsfeed (i.e the newsfeed on wanuka.com) Don't worry: this is not a replacement for the photo gallery on wanuka.com, it's more an extension to my blog.

Kongsberg

This post is maybe a bit delayed; but just wanted to tell that we had a great time in Kongsberg on Saturday 26 February. Beautiful weather, downhill skying and hamburgers, what more do you want?

Looking Forward to April

Really, I'm looking forward to April. Not because it's boring at the moment; there are many interesting things going on! But a trip to Las Vegas and a vacation to Cairo is worth looking forward to, don't you think? In the meantime I'm trying to get hold of a better camera, I'd like to take a rather good digi camera with me on the trip so that I have lotsa nice pictures to update my online photobook with when we come back!
